When you or a family member have a learning disability you may face additional challenges with things like money, housing, benefits or accessing the help you need.

If you find it difficult to understand your care and support or find it hard to speak up, there are people who can act as a spokesperson for you.

They are known as advocates, and they make sure that you are heard.
